so why a blog now?

I am a big fan of blogs. Reading other people's, i.e. Always thought I would be uncomfortable writing my mind out on a public forum, and if you can't write your mind out, well.. then what's the point of it all?

But here I am now. Maybe because of a lack of anything more intelligent to do, and frustrated by the actions of some, and inspired by others, I recently thought why not? After all, if I can create profiles on Facebook, Orkut, Hi5 and a gazillion other social networking sites and add people I don't even remember on them, then why not blogging....

Anyhoo...here's to my firstttt everrr post on a blog!! woohooo! (for the uninitiated, I dreamt of someday being a famous one-awesomely huge-blockbuster-of-a-book writer as a child, and even now I sometimes fantasize that when I 'do' come out of my shell and write, I write to leave the Booker prize winners behind. But, in reality, I think this is the closest I will ever get to writing a book... so lemme enjoy the moment people!!)
